No, as long as you leave your locking wheel nut key somewhere accessible (if applicable) then we can change your tyre(s) without you being with your vehicle. For this service payment must be made prior to the work being carried out.

We can still change your tyre in this situation, we can make a temporary copy of your locking key from your locking nut using our specialist kit, this will allow us to remove your locking wheel nut without causing any damage.

The easiest way to check your tyre tread depth is to put a 20 pence piece in the groove of the tyre. If you can see the inner ring then your tread depth is getting to 3mm and you should consider getting your tyres changed soon.

See our blog post here for a video about this subject.

Your owners manual should show you what your correct tyre pressure should be for your car. Once you have this, the easiest way to check your tyre pressure is to go to a petrol station and use their digital compressed air pump.

See our blog post here for a video about this subject.

For a good visual inspection of your tyres you want to check each tyre for any damage to the wall of the tyre, any objects embedded in the tyre such as nails and make sure there are no lumps, scars or cuts in the tyre. If your tyre has any of these then you should have it inspected immediately.
